Volume and Space

The purpose of this project was to be able to identify and apply space within a space, space overlapping a space and space abutting a space. This was achieved through a physical model using dowels. My personal design tried to incorporate an idea of height rising towards the center and shrinking around the edges. Along with this I tried to represent a city going from tall skyscrapers and historic locations in the center and suburbs around the edges. Do note that it represents a quarter of a circle.
